A Sourced Click-Through is when someone clicks on a link to a Web site that has been modified to contain a Query String, which includes information about the source of the click.
These Click-Throughs can only be generated from links that the Web master has the ability to control, i.e. e-mailings, banner ads, Pay-Per-Click advertising. Other sources of traffic, such as unpaid search listings, do not have the sourcing information in their link and are thus more difficult to track.
